I haven't updated my journal in awhile so I'm doing that now

I've been 21 now for a little over a week and it's been awesome!! I feel older, more mature, and it's cool to be able to mix a drink for myself in front of my mom, lol. I haven't gotten totally smashed yet, but I am getting more used to drinking. I have found that I like rum and coke together. Tonight I tried my rum and coke with a little Smirnoff, but I don't like it as much...too many flavors lol. Btw, I want to say thank you to everyone who came to my birthday party!! I really appreciated it and I hope you all had a good time!!

For the last few weeks I've been cat/house sitting for Brittany which has been pretty fun. It's been really cool taking care of a cat again and brought back so many memories of my Mel. I still do miss my kitty, but I don't cry every time I think about him now, which is a good thing

Work is going ok. About a week ago I was seriously thinking about quitting, but I've decided to stay. It wouldn't be so bad if I just got paid more. I mean, for everything that I have to do (cooking, cleaning, showers, changing, activities, charting) I should be making quite a bit more than $8.21/hr. Next month I will get a little raise which will be nice, but it still won't be sufficient....but oh well. I just need to stick with this job til about January when I'll be starting (hopefully) at Cal State Fullerton. And then I can be back on my parents insurance and can try to find a part-time job somewhere.

As always thing are going really well with me and Jeremy. Today (July 3) is our 2 and a half year anniversary!!!! Time has gone by really fast! It seems like just yesterday that we met, but it also feels like we've known each other forever...lol, I don't know how to explain it. All I know is I am very happy and totally in love with my Prince <3
